The Fern Valley Water District continues to strive toward achieving the best use of our water resources by managing our natural resources, minimizing water loss due to leaks and implementing Tiers-1 through 4 conservation methods that encourage each of our customers to use water in a responsible manner.

As part of this effort, the Board of Directors and Management of the Fern Valley Water District is pleased to offer a new rebate program for our customers who choose to install a Smart Leak Detection Device or Smart Water Shut Off Device or a Smart Leak Detection Device with a Shut Off. The device must be capable of detecting a serious pipeline leak, not merely a drip under a sink or appliance.

Ther Fern Water District will issue a $150 bill credit to any customer that submits an application with proof of purchase and installation of a device on their Fern Valley Water District property. This rebate is subject to District inspection of installed device. Below is a list of acceptable devices with advertised prices for information only, please contact the office with any questions about other devices to ensure acceptability prior to purchase or installation and shop around for best prices. The District does not endorse nor recommend any particular device, these are just known devices that are available.

The District recommends that customers check with their insurance provider prior to any purchase to ensure compliance with new insurance company requirements as many insurance companies are requiring specific units be installed. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with their insurance company requirements.
